The first weekend of the 2022 American football season will start on January 15 and 16th and last till April 24th, Playoff.

The big question is, can Badalona Dracs continue its 6 consecutive seasons this year as a Dynasty. This is a hard task to do because want knocks them off their throne. The likely teams that can do it are LG OLED Back Demon, Rivas Bears, and Mallorca Voltors.

The sleeper team is Murcia Cobras appears to be an ambitious team because they hire a proven winning head coach Tim Bishop and have a lot of talents on the roster.

  1. Badalona Dracs- is expecting another great Season with QB Glen Cuiellette at the helm.  They continue to pick players from the USA, Denmark, France, and homegrown talent in Spain to boost the roster. Key players to look for are Patrick Kenney RB/LB, Hunter BelzoRB/WR, Jordi Brugnani DB,  Mathias Roll Hummelmose OL/DL, Benjamin Plu WR, and Eduardo Sanchez Gonzalez OL for this season.

2. Mallorca Voltors- Jesus Sanchez has very good players on his team, but more noticeable play Ronald Tomasello DB/RB, Quarterback Tolo Flaquer, and Yago Rivero DE. Their other players to keep an eye out for are Jaylon Hibbs WR, Back up QB, or maybe a starter Deigo Lliteras, Jaume Alcover LB, Unai Alberdi LB, Gregori  Leonidas  OL, and  Marco Molina WR. They seem to be passing teams are depth at WR along with strong-arm quarterback. They had the third-best defensive last year and expect them to be better.

3. Hospitalet Pioneers-Head coach Bart Iaccarino ran these brave and wild men from the wilderness of Division B and transformed the club into a powerhouse in the future at Division A level. QB Zach Edward has a good weapon of skill position offensive players on the team. By Signing Ziyi Lei to boost Running back depth along with Aniello Porcelli and Walter Mereles. they resigned Carlos Guillen to keep the offensive line in tack and added 21-year-old Lucas Soares an up and coming bright star. Head coach to send message to the rest of league that he created Frankenstein mean machine to dominate the opposing defensive line. They re-sign two excellent receivers Jordi Torrededia and Jaume Llinas. Defensive units are on solid ground and added two linebackers by signing Gonzalo Bonnin and re-signing Jofre Cano to give this more depth and strength. This is one team I won’t sleep on it because if you do they will kick your ass in your dream.

4. Barberà Rookies-This Team has been promoted from Series B League to Series A-League after losing to L’Hospitalet Pioneers 24-21 in the Series B League Championship final last year. Will Coach Eduardo Sanchez can elevate the teams to compete at a higher level this League. The most noticeable offseason signings are Miles and Nolan Corpening both playing defensive back. On the offensive side of the ball, Miles plays running back and Nolan plays wide receiver. I’m expecting this team to finish 4th place this season base on a hunch, that this team will improve as the season moves along.

5. Zaragoza Hurricanes- Since this is a tough division they will take a step back from last year’s 4-4 record, They hired Kurtis Lee a defensive mind head coach who believes in adjusting the scheme to the team’s personnel. This is rather usual, but it shows he is a flexible coach who can adjust on the fly. They added a quarterback Kevin Doyle from the University of Arizona, however, he did not play a down for them. He does have the ability to open up the passing game and offensive team more efficiently.

1. LG OLED Black Demons- They were runner-up last year losing to Badalona Dracs 31-21. Since they hired coach new head coach Jake Hale, He will have to take the team to a whole new level to achieve their ultimate goal. That winning their first club in team history. They added offensive coordinator OC Daniel Farley to improved their offensive passing and running game. They such win the south division handily.

2. Rivas Bears-  This team is certainly well-deserving to make it to the championship game. QB Sergio Barbero led his offense with his support RB  Adrian Jimenez, WR Alexander Tizon, WR Atsushi Uehiro, WR David Giron, and WR Alvaro Guitian. They also sign a Mexican offensive and defensive line Juan Escobar to dominate the trenches. DB Jorge Ruiz is a ball Hawk, any ball in the air belongs to him. Keep an eye on this team because they could dominate in Series A-League.

3. Murcia Cobras- New head coach Tim Bishop brought in offensive assist coach Casper Rasmussen from Denmark and a young defensive assist coach Jaydin Moses to help bolster player performance on both sides of the ball. They resign Illinois QB, Robert Cuda who he becoming the best player in the league. He can beat you with his arm and feet. They are loading big bodies in the trenches on both sides of the ball adding OL/DL Nick Ladd, OL/DL Deon Mutsvan, and OL/DLJosé Rafael Ariza Paredes. They sign Swedish player Jonathan Göransson DB/WR  who can play the game at a fast tempo. WR Mohamed Jalloh can stretch the field and give defensive back problems.

4. Fuengirola Potros-  Potros went 2-6 last years year and it has to play much tougher this year to stay alive, They resign QB Henri Vaananen to come back another. They sign Gonzalo Musso from Argentina, Nicco Suppa, and Nikolas Knoblauch who play LB/RB. Head coach  Nacho Ponce got his hand full to improve coach on both sides of the ball.

5. Gijon Mariners- They went winless last year losing all their game. If they finished last place this year, they could get demoted to Series B. They sign ex NFL and Iowa State star LB Marcel Spears Jr. to reinforce the defense that needed so badly. Another signee is Mexican QB Daniel De Juanbelz from CU Pumas college. He is a proven winner taking his team to the National Championship of the Mexican University League. He got a powerful arm and has great mobility to run the ball or extend passing plays. Despite signing two big-name players may not be enough to get out of the Celler.
